Desert Rock bands analysis with JSON, GraphQL, and SQL/PGQ

Is there any relation between Queens of the Stone Age and Kyuss?
Josh Homme played in both bands. That’s an easy one.

What about more complex paths between desert rock bands? Or musical artists in general?

In this 100% demo session, we’ll get semi-structured data about musical artists from Wikipedia, convert it to JSON, store it as relational for stronger data validation and easier integration, and analyze it as a graph through the new SQL/PGQ syntax.

It sounds like lots of code to write, but it is damn easy when using the right tools.

(this session is 1h30 long)
